Brew House Rocks

Beer or Coffee? Beer….or Coffee? Both please.

Arundel Brewery and Edgcumbes Coffee have come together to produce the Brewhouse Project! Located opposite Maccy D’s Arundel, it is a unique drinking spot and experience!

People of the Littlehampton and Arundel area this place makes a nice change from the local spoons (I love you spoons) or old man (I love you old men) pub. No more moaning about how there are no chilled bars local because with its lofty American barn house exterior and relaxed but bright interior it makes for the perfect summer drinking spot.

You don’t need to be a beer connoisseur to enjoy a pint here Either! If the thought of a micro brewery and choosing the “in thang” gives you sweaty palms take it from me as a Carlsberg fan …….the staff are so helpful and friendly you are going to find the brew for you.

Tone your biceps whilst drinking with the novelty sized beer goblets

To celebrate the first weekend of their new extended opening hours (Thursday until 8pm and Friday’s and Saturday’s 10pm) they will be celebrating the only way anyone ever should. With chips. Posh chips.

Forgotten Cuts Co will have their Posh Nosh pop up suppling the beer goggled of us fancy chips and im sure dips.

One of the best beer gardens in the area

Some pretty delicious pizza is also available on a daily basis.

Who doesn’t love pizza after a few?

Prices per pint you are looking at £4.50-£5.00 a pretty fair price for an independent bar and to be honest one of the best beer gardens around.

So don’t just drive past this (literally) hidden gem go check it out! Make it your weekend hot spot!

Plenty of relaxed seating

For The Love Of Lavender

You don’t need to trek it to France to get your floral field fix……West Sussex you can get yours just outside of Chichester.

If you had plans this weekend to catch up with the EastEnders omnibus or to binge watch the new series of Stranger Things I urge you to immediately ditch your plans and head out to Lordington to experience their once a year lavender extravaganza. Open Day dates: Monday 8th July – Sunday 14th July so you do really need to drop what you are doing and head over now.

Perfect photo opportunity spot for those who are Instagram inclined and a bonus for those who spend more time managing their dogs Instagram account……dogs are allowed (must be kept on a lead)!

It’s a totally family friendly experience with a tractor ride and areas free for picnics, tea and cake is also available.

Overall this is a “can you believe this is on our doorstep”experiance so what ever your motivation for a visit get up and go!

What is What’s Up West Sussex?

On a Mission to get you out of that weekend sofa-Netflix funk and out sharing some pretty amazing experiences

West Sussex Poppy Field.

Hello!

My name is Sarah and I am a 28-year-old from West Sussex. I live with my ginger boyfriend and have two dogs Otto and Meeko who I am sure will feature heavily in these posts.

Based in Littlehampton I am bored of all the complaining I over hear on a daily basis of how boring it is to live in this area. Come on people it could be so much worse!

I am passionate about adventure and embracing our locality and so I am on a mission to set your weekends alight by sharing tours of the West Sussex scenery, events and hidden gems.

Keep up to date on my Blog posts by following my personal Instagram Page and join the (hopefully soon to grow) community on Facebook.
